| Why can't I remove the refill from the original printhead supplied with my printer? |
| Why can't I remove the refill from the original printhead supplied with my printer? |
|
The original printheads supplied with these printers are non-refillable and they are therefore disposable when they run out of ink. To check that you have the disposable printhead inserted in your printer please see ANRTI06. This page shows pictures of the different types of inkjet printheads. This should allow you to make absolutely sure that you can identify exactly which printhead you actually have in your printer. In order to use refills you require a T7X60 refillable printhead, part number 044834 for the black refillable printhead or 044835 for the colour refillable printhead. |

I have installed the TallyColor T7060 Printer Driver and Printer Monitor Program onto my PC, but all of the options under Printer Care are greyed out. What am I doing wrong ? When using the Printer Monitor Program on a Windows 95 PC you must ensure that the Parallel Port Type on your PC is set to SPP within the BIOS (refer to your PC documentation). Windows 95 should identify the Parallel Port Type as a Printer Port LPT1:. You must also ensure that under the Printer Driver properties you have disabled the Spool MS-DOS Print Jobs tick box, this will appear in the Port Settings Tab. |
| Not Responding to Windows 95 |
|
I have installed my T7060 drivers but the printer will not respond when I send a print to it. What can I do? The installation onto Windows 95 sometimes loads a spool setting within the printer driver's properties that will not work correctly with the T7060. If you go to Printer Properties, click on the Details heading and then click on the Spool Settings button. If your PC has installed "Oljornal" change this to RAW it should then print correctly. |
| Loss of personality |
|
My T7060 has lost its personality. With Windows 95 it logs on as a different printer. Can you help?
The personality of the T7060
is stored in NVRAM. It can lose this for unknown reasons. There
are three files: mt7060.bat, mt7060.bin and stest.bin. that can
help. |
