| Nothing in display apart from ink life indicator | ||||||||||||

I have turned on my T7070 and I am seeing only the ink object on my printer display, why? This can indicate that the printhead life may have expired or that the printhead may have a bad contact. The worst case scenario is that you may have a printer hardware failure. We recommend that you replace the print head first. If the problem still occurs then you could contact our Field Service Department by clicking here |

What are the part numbers of the Tally Z drivers for the T7070?
|
||||||||||||
|
I have installed your CD ROM driver for my T7070. It is very slow when printing. Why is this ? There is one setting in the
printer properties that causes the printer to run slowly. This is in the
details of the printer. The settings, "Print to Spool" and
"Start printing after first page is spooled" give very slow running.
Sometimes there is no printing at all. The system locks up. Start>Settings>Printers and select "Tally 7070(Z)". |

| Printer prints magenta instead of dark blue | ||||||||||||
|
If I choose Dark Blue in Word for my characters on my T7070, the characters print more magenta than blue. Why is this ? If you have not used your
T7070 for a long time and then go straight to printing, the dark blue does
print with a purple hue. This is due to ink mixing in the head with standing.
To overcome this either purge the head before printing or run off a header page
using lots of dark blue. |
