| Performing A Hex Dump | |

performing hex dump printing. |

| Restoring Factory Defaults In The Printer | |

the Remote Control Panel. This is a software utility supplied with the
printer which runs under Windows and you will find a Default button for
resetting the printer. |

|
| Printer Firmware Version | |
| To discover the printer firmware
version print the Current Printer Configurations and look for
the Software versions in the lower left corner of the status page. |
|
| Printing Via External Print Server | |
| These printers will print from
external print servers but you may need to use a power supply for the
external print server. |
|
| Power Save Mode | |
| These printers do not have a power
switch so the only means of powering them off is at the mains supply
outlet where the power cable is plugged in. However, the printer does have
a power save mode which will allow the printer to power down the heating
element in the fuser when it has not been used for a while. For this power
save feature to function, the printer must remain online with the green
led lit. |
