Removing The Covers

When removing covers from a printer, always ensure that the power to the printer is turned off and that the mains power cord is disconnected from the mains supply.

The instructions given here do not guarantee electrical safety if the printer is subsequently connected to the mains supply and if you are unsure of the electrical safety of the printer after replacing the covers, ensure that you have a qualified electrician test the electrical safety of the printer before use.

It is useful to know the best way to remove the cover on this printer should you choose to do so.

After removing the 3 screws on the underside of the printer, the cover is still held in by one latch. See figure below.
