T7060 TN005 Rev New Disabling Print Monitor/Spooler |
If you are using a T7012CF, T7080, T7060, T7160 or T7260 printer with a network print server box it is advisable to disable the spooler. This can be achieved by changing the data format to RAW as opposed to OLJOURNAL within the Windows Driver. To do this select the Printer Properties and then the details tab:
Select Spool Settings, Spool data format as RAW and OK this.
It is also possible to stop the print monitor on the 7012CF when printing onto a local port from Windows 95 or Windows 98. This may be thought necessary as the print monitor displays an error message advising that there is a black head in the colour station. This is because the driver in use is a T7080. The printer still prints, the message is just advisory. If you decide to stop the monitor, highlight the printer within control panel printers, then right mouse click and deselect the setting " Show monitor during print ". This will still leave the spooler running. |
