"Change Ribbon" Message
The message "Change Ribbon" appears in the control panel display. This may or may not be normal, based on the selection of the Ribbon Monitor function through the Menu.

The Ribbon Monitor feature helps the Operator determine when to replace ribbons for optimum and consistent print quality.  (Available in firmware release version 9.3.)  This is a menu selectable item - the default setting is OFF.  If you are getting the "Change Ribbon" message, and the user has not selected the function, change the menu setting back to OFF - it may have been selected in error.
