Printing From DOS

In our T9006 FAQ's we explained the reason why printing to the T9006 printer from DOS is a very "hit and miss" affair. However, it can be done but you have to be careful in what you expect from the printer.

The problem arises because the printer does not have a control panel and so it is impossible for you to know how the printer is configured at any given time.

A solution is for you to make up a small print file with a reset command and any commands included that will set the printer up as you would like it to be. Then you will have a known starting position to work from.

However, please bear in mind that we have said that printing from DOS is not reliable and not recommended.
