Problem: |
When feeding paper from Second Bin (Optional Add On Tray), paper is ejected from printer with skew, with damaged top left corner or the paper may jam in the feed path in the Tray 1 and the paper feed path prior to the registration unit. | |

Solution: |
The feed problems have been found to be caused by the feed path up through the
Tray 1 being too wide which allowed the top edge of the paper to catch on the
hood covering the pinch roller at the main paper drive just above the Tray
1.
This is now fixed by installing a Paper Guide Dummy (P/N 398 492) as shown in the picture below. The position of the guide is at the front left of the paper area.
