The following firmware V0.50 Id 044595 has been released which supports the Euro symbol as follows.

The Euro symbol is implemented in Code page 858 at location <D5> hex.

It is available in each font (Draft, Roman, Sans Serif, Courier, Prestige, Script, Gothic, Bold PS).

In the printer menu "no:13" "CODEPAGE" Parameter "06:MULTILINGUAL-EURO (#858)" is added.

You select this Code page 858 in IBM-mode with the ESC sequence:

In general ESC[Tn1n2n3n4n5n6

Specifically ESC[T4000390

In hex 1B 5B 54 04 00 00 00 03 5A

You select this Code page 858 in NEC-mode with the ESC sequence:
ESC R n were (n=20 for CP 858); ESC R 20; 1B 52 14 (hex).

You select this Code page 858 in EPSON-mode in the printer menu with "no:13" "CODEPAGE" "06:MULTILINGUAL-EURO(#858).
